My Dad and stepmom Kim came from Utah for a visit. We were very excited to have them since we hadn't seen them in a while. The weather was so great the entire time and it was probably the most fun we've had sightseeing Oregon. Our first stop was Tillamook, Oregon. My grandpa was stationed there with the Navy from 1943-45. It was in Tillamook he met my grandma and they were married. We went to the air museum and saw one of the old blimp hangars. My grandpa was actually one of the soldiers on the blimps and once crashed in the ocean. We found a picture of my grandpa in the museum. It was very cool to see some of my family's history here in Oregon.
Then we had to stop by the Tillamook Cheese factory. We got some icecream and sampled some cheese.
Our day wasn't over yet. We drove over to Seaside and spent a few hours on the beach and in the arcade there. We heard about this addicting game at the arcade so we checked it out and ended up playing it forever. Trevor is still talking about it. Madi loved the sand and the swings.
The next day we went to Roloff Farms. That is the pumpkin farm for the family on the TV show Little People Big World. It was so much fun! We got photos with most of the family, picked pumpkins, and went on the tour of the farm. We wanted to go last year but never had time so it is something I have looked forward to all year.

It was also Kim's birthday on Saturday. We went to a dinner at this fish house on the water of the Willamette River. Then we came home for some cake. We miss Kiki and Dad already, especially Madi. She loved having them here.
