Chase's Blessing Day

We officially welcomed Chase into the world last Sunday.
It was a gorgeous spring day. His Dad gave him a sweet blessing in church.
Thanks to all of our friends and family that were there to support us,
especially those from out of town.
We had a luncheon afterwards and had a lot of fun visiting.

We are so happy this sweet little boy is part of our family.

His blessing outfit almost didn't fit him, we bought it a few weeks ago. This kid is growing fast.

Shauna's Wedding

My cousin Shauna got married on Sat. and Madi was one of the flower girls at the reception. They were actually chocolate girls because their baskets were filled with hershey's kisses and they passed them out to the guests. It was a lot of fun, and Madi looked so cute in her little dress.

Easter!!

Easter was a lot of fun for Madi this year. The Easter bunny came to our Apt., then we went to church, then we went to Russ and Karen's for Easter dinner and another Easter egg hunt. Bryce and I were proud that we stumped Tyler for about 15-20 mins with the egg on the pool table. He stared right at it a couple of times.

Tyler and Ashley came to visit us (sorry it took a couple of weeks to post). We had a lot of fun, and one of the highlights was going to VooDoo doughnuts and eating a maple bar with strips of crispy bacon on it.

Makeup Lesson

So this last week I got a makeup lesson from my friend Nicole Wagner, who is a professional makeup artist. It was really fun and I learned a lot of new techniques. Nicole showed me how to do a smoky dramatic eye and how to contour my face. Anyways I didn't know she would be taking pictures afterward but we did a quick little photo shoot after and I felt like a million bucks. It was just the pick me up I needed after just having a baby.

GPA and GMA Heid

Grandpa Ted and Grandma Tracy came to visit us in Portland. My Dad arrived a few hours earlier than my Mom, so we decided to play nine holes at a course near the airport. My mom's airplane was delayed so we ended up going home, to outback (Thanks Grandpa Ted), and then going back to get G-ma Tracy. G-Pa Ted was only here for a day as he was flying through Portland conveniently on his way to Korea and China for three weeks.

The Olsen's and Kunz's blessed their baby's on the same day, so we went and watched both and then went to an open house for the Kunz's. The Olsen's then came over for games at our place and here is Madi and Sophia watching a movie.(Which didn't last much longer than to take the picture before they turned the beds into a trampoline(or jumpoline as Madi calls it.)

First bath

Chaser had his first bath and he loved it. He didn't even cry. He is a sweet little baby. He has very long arms and legs and big hands and feet. I hope he starts to fatten up soon!

Did I mention how much Madi loves her brother? She always wants to hold him.
She is still learning to be soft and gentle with him.

We Had Visitors and more of baby Chase

Last week we had my Mom Sandy and sister Sierra come stay with us from Arizona. I was so happy to have some help and company since Trevor was studying and taking boards. Madi had a great time with her buddy Sierra and her Gramma Sandy. They spoiled her.





We didn't do a whole lot since we had a week old baby but we did go to the outlets and out to Multnomah Falls one day. Madi was extremely mad and wanted to get out of the stroller. This was the best picture of all of us.
