Yesterday we went out to Welches, Oregon to Wildwood trails. We took a little hike, saw some fish, threw rocks in the river. It was pretty chilly and a little rainy, as you can tell by the sweaters, but BEAUTIFUL!
Madi was choosing the biggest rocks to throw, she likes a challenge, I guess.?

Happy Fathers Day!
Happy Fathers Day to our Daddy around here. We are lucky to have him. Madi loves her Daddy so much. She actually calls for him at night. I have her trained well. We can always count on Daddy to play with her and wear her out. He can fix almost anything and has amazing strength.:) He loves to snuggle his kids. He's a softie. Madi can usually convince him to stay up longer, read one more book, have another snack. He is a great example to us of service and someone my kids can look up to. We love you. Have a great day Trevor.

Last Days
Trevor's last day of the quarter was Friday. He still has the clinic over the break but we are off to Arizona for a week! We are so excited to swim and see the fam. Most of my family hasn't met Chase yet so we want to show the little cutie off to everyone. Trevor has two more quarters left, only one more with actual classes. The last quarter is just clinic time.
Also, my last day of work was Friday! I decided to quit my job about a month ago. It has been a really hard decision but one that will be best for our family right now. I am really excited to spend more quality time with my kids. I am so thankful I was able to have that job for two years while Trev was in school. It was such an answer to our prayers and very flexible. It was becoming increasingly hard to get my work done after Chase was born. I felt like a failure at work and a failure as a mom. My kids are my most important priority right now. They really need my attention, especially Madi since Chase was born.

It does feel good to be done. However, the job had its perks. Bye bye home phone, cable, high speed internet etc. It's okay we don't need those anyways. I feel the need to simplify.
He is growing up so fast.
She keeps me on my toes. Luckily it wasn't permanent marker.

New Family Pics
Time for some new family pictures, since we have a new member and all. I was so excited because our fave photographer Heather was coming to Portland for a visit. It happened to be a rainy day, boo. We still got some good pictures. Now I just have to decide which one I am going to use for the wall. Here are some of my faves.

Chase's First Mariners Game
We took a quick trip to Seattle a few weeks ago to see the Mariners play the Red Sox. We invited Trev's cousin Shauna and her husband Steve, a die hard M's fan, to come with us. We had some great seats my wonderful father in law got for us. I don't know if it was because we were in the good seats but we were treated so well. A worker told us we could get Chase something for attending his first game. We were given a cute little certificate and all sorts of Mariner goodies. How nice! He is a fan for life! JK. Also the game was a good one, Ichiro hit 2 home runs and we beat the Red Sox. Those Sox fans are hard core, it was like we were at an away game.
To be a kid again...
We had a bbq with some of our best friends for Memorial Day and just let the kids run and play. They were having a great time just being kids.

Olivia
I just love the Olivia books by Ian Falconer. Olivia reminds me of my Madi in a lot of ways. Olivia is this curious, fun, opinionated little pig that has all of these adventures with her little brothers and pets and friends. She is the center of her own little universe. Same as Madilyn. I can just picture Madi dressing Chase up as a girl or using him as target practice or some naughtiness like that. It is going to be fun watching these two grow.

What we've been up to...
Madilyn is going through a naked stage. She takes off her clothes multiple times per day and just wants to roam free. Lately she loves this dress up skirt and wears it as a dress, or a tube top. Did anyone see the Office episode a few weeks ago with the casual day? Think Meredith. She is cracking me up. I even put it at the bottom of her hamper to try and hide it from her. She came out of her room wearing it a few hours later. She has also been copying me a lot. I especially love it when she says "I'm so proud of you Mom." or "Are you kidding me?"
I am so in love with this little one. I have been so happy lately. I think its the post pregnancy hormones. I just can't get enough of Chaser. He is just adorable and such a good little baby. He sleeps 8 hours at night, is content most of the time, and is starting to smile and coo. He just melts my heart.

Trevor has been busy treating patients at the clinic. He loves it! He told me this is his favorite quarter so far because he is finally doing what he came here for, treating patients. I love his energy and enthusiasm. It gets me excited for the future when we can start seeing a return on our 3 year investment.
As for me I am trying to get in shape for summer. I'm not very good at exercising regularly or sticking to a diet but I am just trying my best to do them both a little better. I have been drinking fruit smoothies every morning. Sooo yummy. I'm still working from home, luckily my baby is good. Still adjusting to having two kids. So glad I have my hubby as a true partner, I don't know how I would survive without him. So glad summer is here! Bring on the sunshine!

Wooden Shoe Tulip Farms
Madi loved the ducky races, the shoe train ride, and the swing and slides. She didn't want to leave. Of course we had to get an elephant ear for the road.

I love this shot. Trev looks like he's being choked. Dads are so fun!
My pretty little tulip!

Chase's Blessing Day
We officially welcomed Chase into the world last Sunday.
It was a gorgeous spring day. His Dad gave him a sweet blessing in church.
Thanks to all of our friends and family that were there to support us,
especially those from out of town.
We had a luncheon afterwards and had a lot of fun visiting.
Chase slept through his own party:)
We are so happy this sweet little boy is part of our family.
